Enjoy our delicious handmade chocolates made with our own bean to bar chocolate, along with fresh roasted coffee and fresh-made gelato at our cozy cafe in Ribe, Denmark's beautiful and historic city.

Bean to Bar

All our products are made from our own chocolate. It’s a three day process from hand-sorting the beans, roasting, refining and finally conching the chocolate for 24 hours.

Peru Marañón Cacao beans

We make all our chocolate exclusively from the rare Fortunato No. 4 Peruvian Pure Nacional cacao beans. These beans are renowned for their taste and complexity. Read about the unique and fascinating story behind these extraordinary beans HERE.

Handmade Chocolate

All our products are handmade using our bean to bar chocolate, natural colours and local ingredients including from our own gardens. The selection changes with the seasons.

Our Fresh Made Gelato

Ribe’s only fresh made ice-cream. We use milk from grass fed Jersey cows from an organic farm only a few kilometres from Ribe. The family run farm has been recognised by Animal Protection Denmark. Our selection of vegan sorbets are all made from locally sourced fruit. We are also known for our homemade waffles made with fresh ground spices, lemon zest, roasted hazelnut oil, and local honey.

Traditional Marzipan

First we import the best almonds from Italy. Then the almonds are stone-ground and mixed with cane sugar. The “raw” marzipan is roasted in the traditional way in our very, very, very old “Marzipan Roaster”. It was originally heated with steam but we had it converted to gas.
